Black Château is an award-winning marketing and public relations firm that promotes authors, books, and personality brands worldwide with a breadth of service offerings. In addition to the marketing and public relations services, we offer branding, self-publishing support, website design, and other bespoke services.
Black Château is dedicated to helping authors and to serving the reading and writing communities. In early 2020, when most book festivals and conventions were canceled due to COVID-19, we knew we had to do something. We set out to create a positive and poignant biannual virtual gathering to unite readers and authors worldwide. The online bookish adventure – The BookFest® – was created. It features panels, conversations, and various activities for book lovers, publishers, and the writing community.
Another brand created by Black Château is Books That Make You. It highlights books and authors through its website, social media, and an award-winning podcast. Black Château, Books That Make You, and The BookFest® are all founded by Desireé Duffy. They serve as platforms for the writing community, authors, and readers in this ever-evolving world of today.
