Founder of The Confident Fat Girl’s Movement, Patrice Shavone Brown Brings Relief In Extended Covid Times
The Mental Health Expert Shares Practical Tips and Advice for Coping with the Effects of the Extended Pandemic at The BookFest Spring 2021
Los Angeles, California: Patrice Shavone Brown, mental health counselor, founder of The Confident Fat Girl’s Movement and author of the bestseller A Fat Girl’s Confidence Guide: I’m Fat, So What steps up her game of being an inspiration and uplifting force for women. As a speaker at The BookFest Spring 2021, she will give insights and practical advice on how people can tend to their minds, bodies and our hearts with long-term social distancing and the extended effects of the pandemic.
Brown will share her words of wisdom along with other experts on the panel, Mental Health and Physical Wellness Books for the Extended Pandemic on Saturday, April 17, at 2:00 pm. Together with other authors and wellness experts, she will also discuss what people can do when their coping strategies stop working and how they can overcome feeling ugly, down, overwhelmed, or just plain exhausted.
Patrice Shavone Brown’s appearance at The BookFest Spring 2021 is another expression of a life in service of others for helping people is at the heart of everything she does. From the books she writes to the last two decades she served her community as a Mental Health Counselor, Brown dedicates herself to empowering others and assisting in people’s healing through the power of words.
