Black Château Presents the Indie Author Journey: A Panel Discussion at November West Coast Writers Conference

A Proud Sponsor for the 4th Year in a Row, Black Château Brings Several Indie and Self-Published Authors together in Conversation for this Online Event

FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE:

Los Angeles, CA – Black Château Enterprises presents The Indie Author Journey: A Conversation with Indie and Self-Publishing Authors about Their Experience, during the Digital Author and Indie Publishing West Coast Writers Conference. The event, held online, spans several days in November 2020, and the Black Château panel takes place Saturday, November 14 at 1:00pm PST.

The panel conversation gives attendees the opportunity to hear from authors who are undertaking the indie and self-published author journey. It promises to answer questions such as: Is there a one-size fits all approach that works for all authors? What are the dos and don’ts? What does it really mean to be an “authorpreneur”? What is it like writing a “calling card” book, and what path is right for you?

The panel includes:

Patrice Brown, Fiction and non-fiction author of A Fat Girl’s Confidence Guide, Secrets of A Crazy Mental Health Counselor, The Finesser and The Finesser 2, among others, and founder of the Confident Fat Girls Movement.

Kevin Groh, Author of The Omni Legend Series with the first book, The Commander: Guardian of Utopia, releasing in the United States in English in early 2021.

Bert Sarkkinen, Author of The Art of Hybrid Timber Framing and founder of Arrow Timber.

Lon Varnadore, Author of Junker Blues, Mostly Human, and other sci-fi and fantasy fiction.

Moderator, Desireé Duffy, Founder of Black Chateau, Books That Make You, The BookFest®.

Regarding the upcoming conference Duffy says, “It is always a pleasure to partner with Tony Todaro and his team from the West Coast Writers Conferences. They bring great events to authors and the writing community. I am looking forward to moderating this panel and helping future authors decide if the self-publishing path is right for them.”
