Founder Desireé Duffy Receives Accolade from the Book Publicists of Southern California
Los Angeles, CA — Black Château founder Desireé Duffy receives the Publicist of the Year Award from the Book Publicists of Southern California (BPSC). During the organization’s 23rd IRWIN Awards, Duffy was presented the accolade which was held at the iconic Sportsman’s Lodge in Studio City, California, on October 11, 2017.
The event honored an array of 18 authors and publishing professionals. It also shined a spotlight on Irwin Zucker, the BPSC’s founder and namesake of the IRWIN Awards, and his 91st birthday celebration. Zucker was the evening’s MC and praised each winner as they took the podium.
Zucker said, “It is a pleasure to honor Desireé Duffy with the Publicist of the Year Award. She’s proven to be an incredible advocate for her clients and gets amazing press exposure for them. She is a delight to have in this industry. On behalf of the Book Publicists of Southern California, we are honored to salute her and her company, Black Château Enterprises.”
